For the past year I have mostly done cakes for family and friends, so I never worried about the quality of the pictures I took. Now that I am making cakes for the public, I tossed my faithful 5 megapixel camera and finally upgraded to a Canon Powershot 10 megapixel camera. I recommend this camera to anyone who wants professional looking photos. I almost went with a Kodak for 3 more megapixels, but definitely spend the extra $50 for a Canon. I am slowly, but surely replacing my old cake pictures with new ones. Even though I love the pictures my new camera takes, it will be hard to say good-bye to some of my very first projects :-/
